Sorry for the long downtime. During an update of the webserver, my webhoster experienced some complications. Apparently, my webspace was one of a few, that still had some issues left. It seems like they finally fixed that now and we are back

Hi all,
apparantly, with the update to the latests forum software, registration got broken. So new users were not able to complete registration since Oct 25. That is fixed now.

There was some error so that one couldn't write private messages. I updated the forum to solve that but the update took longer than I expected. I thought that there would be some kind of maintenance message but apparently the forum goes to read only instead :-P I will post a message next time before...

Sadly i stopped 3D scanning entirely when my daughter was born 2 years ago and passed most equipment to a forum member. I had to reduce the number of hobbies and scanning was one of the more time consuming ones. Before that, i upgraded to a better projector and industrial b/w cameras. That made quit...

regarding a modified David K132: you could order one from amazon and return it within 30 days. This isn't the polite way but i wouldn't care too much if it is a big one.
