Very nice and slim setup. Are the STL files for projector and cameras somewhere available? Can you share?
Does RV DIY also support DIY turntable with 2-axis, similar as the quant model?

Re: First Scans with Revopoint Mini

@Micr0 Very interesting feedback from somebody who has experience with SLS scanner. For the moment i do not see any reason to change from SLS to mini. When setting up DIY SLS system it's on almost similar price level but much better quality. Only if high flexibility is needed i think the mini really...

Re: New scans with FlexScan3d

Flexscan3d looks quite interesting. I have 2x Daheng cameras and Acer K132 projector and would like to test Flexscan.
Is there any trial licence available to check how my setup is working?

Re: Some scans of Revopoint MINI

Would be great see more scans done with the mini. Especially technical parts and not the included bust. ;-) Also it would be interesting to get some more user experiences from people who were using structured light scanner (e.g. david, hp, rangevision, flexscan) until now. Escecially usability and q...

Re: Some scans of Revopoint MINI

The Revopoint Mini is really very interesting 3d scanner due to his portability. The resolution of the depth camera from the Mini is 1280x800 and the RGB camera has 2MP. The David SLS-2 cam has quite similar resolution which is 1280x960 and the SLS-3 cam has even 1920x1200. Is it possible - based on...

Did you meanwhile found a solution to get 2x Daheng cameras working also on HP3dScan?
I am asking because i have the same cameras for RV but would also like to use it with HP3dScan.
Thanks

Re: Some of my scans

The Rangevision DIY looks very interesting. Is it possible to use the HP S3 Kameras, Acer K132 projector and HP rail setup with Rangevision DIY software?
In this case i would like to try Rangevision software.

Re: 360° alignment issue and calibration settings questions

Thanks Micro0 for the information. How did you mill the bigger circles with white dot in the middle? Based on the official HP printouts the black dot is /30 from the scale. Is the size of the point important or just only the position?

Re: 360° alignment issue and calibration settings questions

@ Micro0: One more question. You wrote "It wasn't till I made a Hyper accurate set on my VMC that I realized just how important the positional accuracy of the dots was." Can you tell me how you machined the panel using a VMC/CNC? I have also a CNC machine but i have no good idea how to get...

Re: New Open Source Turntable

Wow ... that's really cool project. :D
Is there any YouTube video availalbe to show the OpenScan with HP Scan in action?
And could somebody summarize shortly which code is needed on the OpenScan Arduino and which SW mod on the Windows PC with HP 3d Scan v5?
