Re: First scans with 23UX236

Nice work! Welcome onboard. I have the same camera(s) and 1214 lenses. Does your optoma have diamond or square pixels? You can check it when you project at large distance. Thank you. I dont know. I will have to take a look. Hello tommy11490. Are you still using this projector? Have you checked if i...

Hello OBNRacerMan... Do you have some scans to post, made with this cam? What do you can say about this model?
Thanks!

Re: jAi GO-5000M-USB

The DAVID uses colored camera, but every one uses monochrome. What is the main diference i will notice on scans choosing a DFK23UX236 Colored instead of Monochrome? (or any other cam model) In short, then: The monochrome camera does not have a Bayer filter (which splits the light incident on the ma...

Re: jAi GO-5000M-USB

There are also cameras on an even more sensitive IMX385 sensor (but, unfortunately, they are only color, which is not very good) OBNRacerMan... Let ask you a beginner question. The DAVID uses colored camera, but every one uses monochrome. What is the main diference i will notice on scans choosing a...

Re: LG PF50

I would like to compare it to the PF1500. A trial from Amazon could be a good option. For now I'm happy for using the PF50 for netflix! The PF1500 is discontinued and the used ones i found (here in brazil) are insane expensive for it's age, like 1000 USD. I can get a brand new PF50 for half of this...

Re: LG PF50

Hi there, these wood surfaces are not easy to scan. a lot surface textures (tool traces, wood rings, my work, intentional) but also wood has different refraction index according to the direction. (That's why we love real wood and recognize instantly fake wood panels in furniture.) Excellent job! So...

Re: LG PF50

Could you confirm that you can focus closer than 790mm?
In the ProjetorCentral Throw Calculator, shows the LG PG50 with minimum distance of 790mm https://www.projectorcentral.com/LG-PF5 ... or-pro.htm
Just to ensure they posted wrong information. ;)
