Re: FlexScan3D - SLS Scanner Software
 Sounds great! For the DIY/Maker market it mainly comes down to cost, i guess. So let's see what you come up with when your software is ready to be released... I'm currently using a DIY rig with 720p dlp projector and a single 5mpix USB3 UVC camera. I read that your intention is to support dua...

Re: Flexscan3D with IS cameras
Personally i would not get that particular daheng camera, 1) it's rolling shutter, - we only recommend global shutter sensors. 2) that particular aptina sensor is super old and not great, Once we officially release FS3D we will provide a suggested list of cameras to help people narrow down choices. ...

Re: David / IS Cameras + FlexScan3D
Hi all, The beta implementation of the IS driver is done. If you've received a demo of the software, you'll need a new version. Please email our support email to get a beta FS3D build to test it with your Imaging Source / HP system. It's our initial pass so we do expect some rough edges and bugs, bu...

Disclaimer: This is the official Polyga account on this forum so I work for the company. :? - So you'll need to take this info with a grain of salt. That being said, The Polyga H3 could also do the job for you for small details, compared to the Artec Spider, it does a comparable or better job. Altho...

David / IS Cameras + FlexScan3D
Hi all, Thanks to the users who sent us their Imaging Source cameras over Christmas, we did a quick scan the David IS cameras via DirectShow drivers, probably will take some time to polish off the drivers and to release a new version at the end of the month for anyone with IS cameras to try. -- ISCa...

Re: DIY turntable with Flexscan3D?
You have a couple options with a DIY turntable. 1) As you've mentioned, you should write your own rotary driver which FS3D will load up and use. There's been many, many drivers written by various individuals so it's pretty straight forward if you can program. -- You can do this if you want to use lo...

Re: FlexScan3D - SLS Scanner Software
That was a long long time ago...
- we did some early DIY sales back then, but quickly switched to industrial applications - Hopefully by offering FS3D back in to the market, we can give people who previously used David a new option. Glad to be here.
