Since the Einscan-S is no longer supported, the only assistance I could get from Shining 3D was a trade-in offer on buying a new scanner from them. Swapping the USB port fixed the problem. Somehow it was plugged into an older USB-2 port. Now there is a hardware issue but I'll make a new post for that. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

It has each. It tried running it on both just the CPU and just the GPU, same result. I also tried allocating maximum memory and running the Windows compatibility test going as far back as Windows 7.
