How to manually heal ScanCenter NG project (empty scene)

I`ve scanned a car with ScanCenter. The scan was good and saving worked correctly. After coming home and opening the same project in a notebook I have an empty project without any scan. Laptop also forgot the last calibration. Scan project folder looks normal. The project folder has 22GB and all sca...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

I`ve got the answer from LG support. They said that the angle (10.65) is changing during changing zoom. They said also that every model has a bit different values because of production accuracy spread, so they can`t give me an exact angle. I`ve asked again them to give me a rounded angle on the mini...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

Thanks erol. Very nice scans. I had both sets. One with 10.65 and the other with random angles. Both scans were shaped walls. The difference was in measure accuracy but maybe the difference was something else not in that angle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=682Wh9IhqyY - This test has been made wi...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

... but to reach this you can raise camera keeping that 10.65 angle (go up) or simply raise the vertical angle of the camera and change that 10.65 angle. In my opinion, raising with keeping that angle would be better. As I said before I`m not sure how crucial that angle is for the whole process. Do ...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

At first, I started the drawings by setting it to 10.65 degrees, then I made the angle variable. If you mount your projector in such a way that you can change the angle, you can change the angle of the projector (the mounting bracket on the bottom of the projector) to align it with the cameras. Thu...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

This is my 3D printed projector mount. It has an adjustable inclination to accommodate different projectors. This is my new scanner mount. :D Could you tell me how you calculate the projector angle and what angle you use for LG HF60LS? Do you use also 10.65 degrees angle or have you calculated othe...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

Thanks for unscrewing your projector for me. This is strange because the rear thread distance is not the same height as the rear leg. So the angle of the projector is different than during measurements (the projector looks higher than it would stand on both legs). I`m confused more now. dfgdf.jpg Ha...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

I have both versions because I mount it on a quick release plate and I have short and long versions. So I can choose as I want but I don`t know which version is right to have that 10.65degrees angle valid. I don`t see that in your photo. Have you raised your version to the height of the projector le...

Re: Few questions about ScanCenter

So if the angle was measured on legs then cameras should be installed on the projector base also when it stands on legs. My bad was that I bought a 15cm arca swiss quick release plate which was shorter than the legs so the whole projector was more flat. My lesson is that If I will use your angle I s...
