Hi Nasr,
I've been well. Just busy with life ATM.

I would like to point out to everyone, for full transparency, that the "Modified" Flexscan3D software being SOLD is not endorsed or supported by Polyga.

Polyga has no affiliation with greeskynet/Nasr in any way.

Thanks!

Indeed, as I could not scan it 100% to create a watertight mesh. However there is sufficient data to work with :D

Re: Exhaust manifold 3d scan

That's really a nice scan. My compliments for the exhaust manufacturing! Why do you reverse it? Thank you! I'm going through and digitizing the parts I custom made while everything is apart. Creating an archive of sorts. Honestly I didn't think I was going to get such good results at first. I just ...

Exhaust manifold 3d scan

Hi all!

This scan was done with absolutely no preparation of any kind applied to the surfaces prior to scanning. Turned on HDR scanning within FlexScan3D and went all in!

Re: FlexScan3D - SLS Scanner Software

Update from me

FS3D works well for me on my laptop running Windows 11.

No issues, install was as easy as could be.

The laptop is a Lenovo Legion gen 6 L7i 11800H/RTX3070 with Kingston Fury 64GB RAM.
It's safe to say the laptop handles 3d scanning quite well 🙂

Re: FlexScan3D - SLS Scanner Software

It is unfortunate that your having issues with W11 but that is good info for the everyone else to know. I have a gaming laptop on order that will be dedicated to 3d scanning. It ships with Windows 11 installed, so I'll try it with FlexScan3D first to see if I have the same issues. If needed, I'll in...

Re: Turbine housing scanned with FlexScan3D

New scan of my favorite test subject! I've been learning a bit more about the camera settings and adjusting accordingly. Very happy with the results. This is a precise merge, no post smoothing applied. Mesh alignment only, no markers were used. Looking back at the previous scan of this object, I can...
