Re: Some of my scans

Hi there OBNRacerMan and thanks for sharing! It sounds just like a mild torture for non-russian people. I contacted once the RangeVision, but received a negative answer. Hope they will sell a software license to EU. Being a long-term 3dscanforum member I would apply for such an oportunity. HP3D will...

I know Mädler has a complete-CAD-catolog... https://www.maedler.de/product/1643/zahnriemen-zahnriemenraeder-und-zubehoer @ OBNRacerMan, that looked neat indeed :-) Thanks for the suggestion. I'm a long time basic Rhino use...

Yes, the gears are printed.
If someone wants STL/STEP-files, just give me a shout. All is done quickly and very dirty
I'm really lazy when it comes to draw gears.
I was supposed to draw timing belt gears to couple with the wheel bearing, but everything is in the "to-do-list".

Re: New DIY turntable

Clean and elegant!
As usual :-)

I'm waiting for a wheel bearing Hub to build my heavy duty turntable. They are cheap and can load more than I need.

In EU rangevision is not selling the software.
At least it's what they told me.

We are waiting for your updates!

Re: SLS on a budget - camera and lens choice

Are you talking about positioning one camera above but to the left of the projector, and the other below and to the right? Is the reduction in the scanable area or field of view worth the increase in accuracy? Can you approximate the benefit? Yes. Because of the use of offset lens projector (and of...

Re: SLS on a budget - camera and lens choice

using a combined vertical and horizontal angle has proven to be useful in increasing the precision.
At least in my experience.
