Revised the landscape setup and bought nodal rails to lower the camera and used parts off the Wimberley / Gimball head to make the projector more sturdy. Also the new 3MP lenses from Kurokesu which has ...

Re: Kurokesu C1
you need to set it to YUV and not in mjpg as compression will ruin the scan. you'll be limited to 5fps since its a usb2 device trying to stream uncompressed video

Re: How to use Canon EOS camera with David
I given up using the slr route with the canon, you dont have complete control of the camera like the aperture. This problem made it worst since all my lenses are 2.8 and lower so the DOF was hair thin.

Re: Calibration pannel correction
I can remove the hinges and place the corner and support beams but it will be permanently be fixed. For the time being i won't be using for a while but if i must i'll need to find a shop that has a wide brake press to trim off the excess and correct the gapping. Kinda wished i left outer guide lines...

just a side track but are there other software other than the built in fusion to combine scans? right now it's pretty terrible and prone to crashing

Re: Oteck's Arca swiss style setup
welp back to the drawing board, the 5-50mm i have are junk as the focus plane shift with it's bad assembly. i know the exact FL i need now but that means more delays. I'll be sending these lenses back while i see about a new pair. the 12 and 16 fix lenses are the FL i need but the aperture is too wide
