3D Scanning Projector
Hi all, Everyone likes to post their latest scans and tech, unfortunately much of what we do can not be shared. Once in a while we get to do some "personal" type projects also. So I thought I'd share this new toy we made for ourselves recently. -- What is it you ask? -- It's a custom made ...

Re: Brake Caliper - FS3D
 nice, my only tip for most scanning is to use precise merge over smooth merge, and keep the auto-hole fill to a minimum. The manual holefill tools are pretty fast to use. It'll keep alot more details. Also the HDR option does pretty well for high contrast surfaces. You should try our XTract3D...

Re: FS3D - Now available
The 0.4ms exposure seems say that that the camera image is perhaps returning immediately instead of capturing images.
Try to set the pre-post from 120 to something high like 500 / 500 as a sanity check to see if you get some images being return.

Re: FS3D - Now available
I indicated in the program the sizes of the squares, and the number of rows and columns - and I get an error that I do not understand. P.S. Also, for some reason, cameras actually run at only 1920 * 1080 resolution (instead of their native 2592 * 1944) That error usually means an image wasn't retur...

Re: FS3D - Now available
There's a handful of settings to adjust, email support. :D In the future, it shouldn't be required but for now it does. Wouldn't this (the forum) be the perfect place to say what needs to be done? I ordered a Tic T500 module and would like to try it out asap. Cheers! /M Not trying to hide anything,...

Re: FS3D - Now available
I understand they are a small manufaturer, but regularly imported in EU and succesfully used with other scanners (and that can be a commercial issue). I am not an IT geek, so I can't exclude that tweaking the drivers will solve the issue. We have some Daheng cameras, in fact they sold several FS3D ...
