Micro,

What I was referring to was mesh frames. The software does not display what frame rate the cameras are running at during the scanning process.

Mading, The hardware is compatible with Basler cameras only. Handheld scanning requires some seriously fast fps cameras too which really narrows down the choices... Turbine housing scan - Part deux

Scanned the turbine housing again but this time it was done with the handheld scanner.
Powered by Polyga and FlexScan3D no less :mrgreen:

No smoothing or hole filling was applied.
Captured in only 2 scanning sessions 8-)

And an update on this cool pot Re-scanned after the following changes- Repositioned the cameras Focus adjustment Aperture adjustment Recalibration Better PC hardware currently on loan to me :mrgreen: The new pc allowed the scanner to run at the Auto fps setting which gives a nicer scanning experienc...
