is there a way to automatically crop around each scan in david to avoid those inaccurate margins? i get fairly large inaccurate margins! good to hear there are only a few of you who have this type of problem and everyone eles's scan are PERFECT!

Its the TCL lens from IS that isn't accurate enough. I tried with a computar lens and the problem is solved to acceptable level.

1) What version of David are you using? 2) Did you turn off the OptomizeMultiCamera setting in the advanced settings? Yes, i turned off OptimizeMultiCamera the moment i installed david. another example, when you scan the same object from different angles, the scans start to diverge at extemeties, here's another example,only 2 scans. I'm starting to think David is a waste of time and money.

Here are the pictures from the scans: Without seeing your set up, I'd say that mismatch is from that part of the object being outside the optimal scan envelope (too far from the center of focus).
