Re: Image Grabber - Calibration Fails
1. In some of the versions, David still had a choice - which calibration panels are used - the old or the new sample (respectively, old panels are needed for laser scanning, new ones for SLS). 2. Laser scanning in David is performed only against the background of the calibration panel (ie the camera...

Re: Scaling Issue
If during the scanning process for some scans the sharpness settings of the cameras or the projector were changed (even changing the aperture of the cameras can play a negative role), then it is quite possible to change the scale. If I'm not mistaken, FlexScan3D, like David / HP3DScan, uses joint ca...

Re: Some of my scans
Is YW500U3 a camera that needs a separate board? YW500U3 / YW500U3M (they have a difference only in the size of the cases and the type of connectors used) 20190614150159s.jpg 20190614150128s.jpg do not require any additional cards and drivers - everything necessary for their work is already in Wind...

Re: Some of my scans
I'm curious how you set it up. I can't align properly due to distortion after scanning for any problems during the calibration process. For scanning very small objects, I usually try to use my smallest calibration table - 30mm. But lately it has become quite good after calibration according to the ...

Re: Tripod suggestions
This is the gantry I made for my rig. What is the angle between the cameras for this setup? Even with a table of 110mm, I need to push the cameras to the very edges of the pipe, 400mm long, on which they are fixed. P.S. On a question of the author of a topic - I now use a tripod SLIK U2000 - (befor...

Flat scan table for David/HP - it is possible.. but useless
:geek: Can the Earth (more precisely, the calibration panel) be flat? I conducted an experiment with calibration on a flat table. And, as it were, it works .. (exclusively for stereo mode ( not extended veiw ), available with two cameras). However, due to features that I did not fully understa...

Displaying camera presets as separate cameras reminded me the same with Daheng cameras

Re: MindVision SUA630M (USB3.0 IMX178)
It is very strange that David / HP3DScan could not see your camera (I tried a sufficiently large number of cameras with it, and the only thing that it could not see is the RGB camera built into Kinect (well, there is a very specific design and drivers) ... And even the RGB camera from Intel Realsens...

Re: SLS on a budget - camera and lens choice
Well, as I thought - your budget system showed quite decent scan quality.
