Re: FS3D - Now available

Somewhere, among the discussion posts, information slipped through that now this program sees UVC cameras (the person wrote, trying to check with other cameras that only the built-in laptop camera is visible) - is this true? If UVC cameras are supported, then it will make sense for me to ask for a ...

Re: FS3D - Now available

Turntable is another plus, even a simple DIY arduino (or other controller such as the USB Polulu) that can be driven with a character on the serial port makes the difference. Thanks for the trial, any forum launch discount will be appreciated! Both the AA or Moons motors support Serial communicatio...

Re: FS3D - Now available

Any trial requests from forum members will be given 30 day evals for probably the next month or so... after that we'll ask people to do a 1 month sub for testing since it's alot of tech support time. We're trying to keep the price reasonable for DIY'ers while not making our commercial customers mad....

Re: Is DMK 72BUC02 a good Choise?

Unfortunately that Aptina MT9P031 5MP sensor is literally the nosiest sensor I've ever used, it's low cost for a reason - the data quality is worst than a 1.3mp sensor. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to use this sensor across many projects dozens of times.. - I know it's low cos...

Re: DLP Projector lenses - is hacking throw ratio possible?

I think the options there would be to put the cameras below or above the projector, - rotate the projector 90 degrees, and to risk destroying the projector and detach the projector light engine from the rest of the electronics.

Re: DLP Projector lenses - is hacking throw ratio possible?

A few years back, TI made the light commander which supported interchangeable Camera lenses as well as projector / camera triggers - at under 1K, it was a good deal except for ultra low lumen count and poor image quality. We used a few for projects and got rid of our last one earlier in the year due...

Re: First Scans With Flex.

Re: Calibration, Would that be reflected in the values reported for the reprojection and error deviation? What would ideal Reprojection Error and Error Deviation numbers be? For this scan/calibration I have: Reprojection Error = 32.69µ Deviation Error + 19.7µ BTW I get Deviation error , but What is...
