Still I have no idea about pricing.
But I already appreciate the free version of GOM Inspect:

Re: A challenge : macro scanning
I once tried installing let's scan, without investing enough time to get a result. The idea was great, but instead I invested time and € in a stereo setup for HP3D. In my opinion there are now more robust and productive sw for DIY scanning than david-HP3D. And cheaper. Looking forward to see the rec...

Re: A challenge : macro scanning
I scanned a small swiss coin (19.12 mm diameter). With a standard LG PF50, a couple of 12 mm lenses, my Daheng cameras and RangeVision scanner. 24 scans, alignment automatic (apart from getting the two half together). coin scanned flat over the turntable This can be improved significantly moving the...

Re: A challenge : macro scanning
Hi Narmella! Good to see you are still active. What is the average scannin time of one of these macro scan? Would you mind to show the scans after alignment and before fusion? How can you focus the projector on such a small area? So many questions.. The quality of the pictures asks for them! :-)

Re: Orage skin like surfacce
As a turn-around, If dimensions are not critical you could smooth it in postprocessing with GOM inspect or other free tools (it a better job than HP3D). IMO it's not an extremely orangy scan. I would try a better alignments and see if it helps. Wich kind of surface is it? Ceramic? Would you mind to ...

Hi,
would you mind to show the scans before fusion?
is it just a small portion of a big scan?

Re: 3D Scanning Projector
As promised, i made a quick video... No, there's no way to do this at a high speed, given unknown delays in Video Cards, HDMI processing, and Windows..... Really impressive!!! Looking forward to hear the specs on the light source (white/monochrome/brightness). I see green light here. Thanks for you...

Re: Projector for Macro 3D Scanning
For both the LG you will need to put cameras above the projector when scanning small stuff. Using longer focal lengths makes you loose resolution of projected fringe (projected pixel size gets bigger and you loose the advantage of a fullHD projector). If you find a suitable replacement lens with lon...
