dont know in detail, but try to find out if the is cameras are supported.
i read in the past that they were not...

is it possible to automatically avoid the critical areas of the scan field? project larger pattern than camera field of view to avoid borders of the projectors lens use the crop factor of lens/sensor size combination to avoid distorted areas of the optics limit the depth of a scan-data automatically...

Is there any possibility to test the early version of Flexscan? Before i choosed david you could find some informations about flexscan with customized hardware (even dslr), but then they switched over to specialized hardware due to quality and implementation issues. afterwards is was getting silent ...

Imagine you are scanning a brick to keep the example simple: (in my case it was a cylinder head with complex geometry) There is enough surface to scan and align while you have the large surface in view. In the area where you flip over the small surface to to the other side you will have less surface...

i thought about the fujinon 25mm but if you told that this might be too wide... i will firstly experimentate with cmount to f mount adapter and use some of my nikon lenses maybe with adjusting the distance...

what is the lens on a sls-3?
