Re: A Comparison of David and Artec Eva

Great results Micro. Regarding the camera, I think the UX173 is discontinued, only UX174 available now. Is the ux173 a global shutter 1/1.2 too? It would help knowing the kind of lens you used. I guess the projector lens is the original one. Still I'm working in order to reach these levels!! Maybe ...

I found it on Amazon for $5999

Thanks.
They posted two handhelds and not much info about either. Which one was $6K?

Re: Scanning van interior

Hi all, I don't own a 3d scanner (yet). I have messed a bit with the kinect (5 years ago, and it was cool). I have read a lot and seen a lot of different scanners (on the internet). I am a carpenter and I would like to scan the interior of a van for measurements. I design my work in sketchup or fus...

Re: DIY Calibration panels for HP/David

I've used a number of different methods to make panels ranging from 60mm to 1000mm. The best panels (the ones that produce the most accurate scans I made on one of my VMCs. The smaller ones I made by milling away white vinyl that was layered over 2 layers of black vinyl on glass plates. The larger o...

Another control stick for a fighter aircraft. Stick itself scanned in stereo mode and the base is scanned mostly in extended mode. Optoma ML750e, 2x TIS 23UX236 with 12mm Computar and original HP Calibration panels 120 mm. Works fine without to much problems. Greetings from Sweden :) stick.JPG Nice...
