Awesome scans! Will you tell us more details about that camera when it is released? the shallow area of sharp focus is something bothering me often. even more so with the projector. the camera can be stopped down at least.

The sensor size mentioned in a lens datasheet mainly says how large is the area that can be illuminated evenly by the lens. so any lens that is designed for a larger sensor than yours should be fine.

I opened my Acer K11 last week and removed the stock optics. Then I tried different lenses in front instead. I had some simple manual photo lenses at hand as well as a lens from an old super8 film projector ( a Leitz Wetzlar Hektor 85mm f/2.5 ). Overall results where not so great. the projector lens...

Uuuh, great idea! Regarding latency, I remember that if you buy a desktop monitor for gaming, one of the key attributes is, that the monitor adds as little extra latency as possible.
