Re: RC Car Component Scan
Thats interesting. Must be an anomaly of not being specifically supported i suppose. I played around a little more and figured out that if i change the explicit frame rate that that same dialog just a few rows below where i was changing the exposure time... it actually 'remembers' that frame rate se...

Re: RC Car Component Scan
I was really hoping the setting you listed was going to help me solve the issue but upon checking the setting it seems to have been set to 'on' all this time so it appears it doesn't help.

Re: RC Car Component Scan
Hi, Yes i get the banding pattern a lot and i can't seem to tweak it out. Using HP3DScan, my camera doesn't "remember" the settings. Every time i go into its settings, change them, and click the "OK" button to return to HP3DScan, it just seems to reset the settings to whatever HP...

RC Car Component Scan
Hi All, Just wanted to add some scans for reference for others as its always interesting when i see others do it. :) Here is a scan of an RC Car component. It was NOT coated at all and its just the usual black injection molded plastic. I was testing how well it would scan (if it would at all). Turne...

Re: DIY turntable with Flexscan3D?
i used Arduino code written by other people that i found after many, many months of searching and scouring the internets trying to find something that was worth the time in the complexity that it took to get a result. The mechanical side i just created something completely for my own use. its not qu...

Re: DIY turntable with Flexscan3D?
I'm wondering this same question as I've built myself an Arduino based rotary table as well. my guess is not at this stage (but we'll see what Polyga say), but would be good if its possible in the future given the recent information.

Re: FlexScan3D - SLS Scanner Software
Hi Thomas, This is great news to hear that you are considering a pricing option/market twoards DIY/smaller users. This is perfect and i'm very much interested. FlexScan3D was actually the software i discovered about 11 years ago when i was first discovering the world of 3D scanning and my ability to...

Re: First scans with lowbudget rig
RMS value is more affected by the resolution of cameras aah HUH! this explains why, with my new MV Camera, that my RMS is really high compared to how it used to be using my Canon HF G30. I expected my RMS value to be much lower (or at least similar) with the better quality MV Camera and i was shock...

Re: MindVision SUA630M (USB3.0 IMX178)
OK i think i've just figured it out. I naively assumed that installing the pylon software would install all required drivers etc but it seems it doesn't. So i found the additional drivers (like SDK etc etc) pack and installed it as a last ditch hope. Rebooted and voila. It how shows 4 entries and i ...
