Re: LG PF50

Looks like it's really hard to get access to the optics of LG PF1500.
What look like the screws that fasten the optics are accessible only after removing everything else:

Re: LG PF50

Thanks for the info.
Especially for the 1500 dissection!

At least we need the dlp size and flange focal distance to start with.
Optics size can be an issue, since the projector case cannot host something bigger than a camera lens, unless we can move lenses out of the case.

Re: LG PF50

Definitely need help for the lens choice.
I read Avogra's experiences in one of the first posts of this forum. I think it's not impossible but not easy at all.
Best would be a 3d printed c-mount kind of adaptee to switch camera lenses. If their aperture is big enough.

Re: LG PF50

I resume this old post. I opened the protector. The optics can be removed without harm (I hope). A tape was glued in the upper part. Unfastening the three screws let you move the optics outward. You can focus a really small area. Of course it's really close to the projector, since the throw ratio is...

Re: FS3D - Now available

Both the AA or Moons motors support Serial communication which FS3D has built in drivers, as well as for the several other low cost chips. https://www.pololu.com/product/3132 - has native FS3D support and is a $30 controller, so for DYI any of those are simple solutions. Thanks for that. very impor...

Re: FS3D - Now available

I have Daheng cameras with Sony IMX178. https://www.get-cameras.com/USB-Camera-Sony-IMX178-MER-630-60U3M I can see the laptop webcam (Dell Precision M7530) but not the Daheng. It's quite a bit of work for us to support specific smaller camera manufacturers, so maybe a generic vision driver like Open...

Re: FS3D - Now available

Congratulations! Looking forward to see the specs. Ball bar was lost in translation! :D I think it's important to keep advanced scanner settings opened in lite, such as fringe patterns or anything that can help tuning the projector/cameras work. Rolling shutter cameras are the most probable diyers c...
