Re: Sense 2 with Kscan3D/FlexScan3D
Interesting information. But, as I understand it, if all this is done, it will only be based on the enthusiasm of the developers.

Re: Raptorex's Setup V1
Hi. Are you sure two Point Gray-GS3-U3-50S5M-C cameras will work simultaneously in the HP3DScan? The problem with the HP3DScan program code is that cameras using DirectShow must have different names in order to work in it simultaneously. From cameras of this type, I have come across only one (Mindvi...

Re: help hikvision camera no display
The main reason is the wrong address https://i.imgur.com/KXntOSx.png This is normal for some types of industrial cameras. My former Mindvision SUA630M cameras were not in the Cameras section, but in the imaging Devices tab: cam-usb3.0_02.jpg The new Daheng MER630 cameras are located in the Machine ...

Re: First Scan With AAXA P7 Projector
Throw ratio AAXA (1.2: 1) is less than that of LG (1.4: 1), so from the same distance it will produce a larger projection size ... Not to mention my old Byintek with a TR of 1.47: 1 and focusing from a distance 100mm So, probably, LG PF1500 and PF50 can be considered "the last of the Mohicans&q...

Re: First Scan With AAXA P7 Projector
Good scan.
P.S. However, it seems to me that the 75mm calibration panel is too big for small objects. When I used David / HP, the most requested tables were 50mm and 30mm.

Re: Some of my scans
I think there are two main reasons: the drill has a black coating, it also has particles from its work.
If it were matted with a lightening compound, the result would be a little better.
In general, I was asked to scan the drill in order to evaluate how the use of binning would round off sharp edges.

Re: Can I save camera settings?
No, you cannot save the resolution settings.
This is a limitation of both camera drivers and a "feature" of David / HP3DScan.
P.S. In older versions of David (<4), it was easier to change the camera resolution (but it was not saved there either) ... and only one camera was supported)

Re: Some of my scans
In the program itself (during calibration) there are recommendations for installing the lens with the desired focal length for a given scanning area. For the smallest 3rd zone, 16mm lenses are best. For the 4th zone (it is not included in the kit, but you can print the actual one), 25mm lenses are ...

Re: A Comparison of David and Artec Eva
150,000: 1 is the "marketing" dynamic contrast ratio. You should not be distracted by it when choosing a projector. The closer the projector is to the subject, the shallower its depth of field, but also the higher the pixel density. Also, when the projector and cameras approach the object,...
