Re: Turbine housing scanned with FlexScan3D

After spending all last week getting acquainted with FlexScan3D and constantly tweaking my hardware, I feel this is worthy of sharing Hi Alonso Can I know why do you scan parts like this Pump Casing? For reverse Engineering? If so, What software do you use for surface modeling an please send some m...

Re: Turbine housing scanned with FlexScan3D

Thanks everyone! Ha! Thanks! With HP3dscan I DID NOT look forward to fusing the scans together. There was nothing worse than getting to the end only to find out your scans don't quite fit together 100%. Not to mention how time consuming the process was. With FlexScan3D, I now look forward to finali...

Re: Some of my scans

Did you meanwhile found a solution to get 2x Daheng cameras working also on HP3dScan? I am asking because i have the same cameras for RV but would also like to use it with HP3dScan. Thanks Yes, I used very old Daheng drivers - with them HP sees both MER630 cameras and works (with the RV also workin...

Re: Is DMK 72BUC02 a good Choise?

Unfortunately that Aptina MT9P031 5MP sensor is literally the nosiest sensor I've ever used, it's low cost for a reason - the data quality is worst than a 1.3mp sensor. I've had the unfortunate experience of having to use this sensor across many projects dozens of times.. - I know it's low co...

My Laptop has USB3 Port. but I think Corei7 CPU and 12G of ram is not enough to handle high frame rate.
at this time I scan using two 2Mpixel Camera and I can feel how much load is over on the CPU.

Re: Daheng MER-500-7UM is a good choise?

I don't think anyone can give an exact answer to these cameras ... they are of little interest to anyone in general ... these are extremely slow cameras that produce 7fps since use an external USB2.0 interface. Personally, I assume that they will not be visible in Flexscan3D, because (according to ...
