Re: How to use Canon EOS camera with David
You do NOT need the Canon software installed. In any case, do not have the Canon software open. You can only use the 32 bit version of David (not the 64 bit). You must have this file in the David folder: EDSDK.dll (version 2.14.0.3) If you camera is compatible, the image will appear within David. Se...

Great work.
I have this for many years (old studio days), but in storage for the moment. I cannot use it a home or go to clients with it

For thoses just starting with David, this must give some cool results if the shutter speed can be adjusted.

Re: Stayin Alive, Stayin Alive!
Considering the quality of your scan, sync is probably superfluous.
About calibration, that's what I had understood, but thanks for the tip on checking it.

Re: Stayin Alive, Stayin Alive!
Since you posted, you know you are going to get questions. Your looking for trouble. 1) Resolution of camera ? I hope that is not TOP SECRET. Approximate pixel value would already be helpful. 2)What do you mean by "When the calibration is on" ? That a precise calibration has been successfu...

Re: David integrated into HP Sprout 2017

I dont think anything has changed for the moment.

Re: Projector and Camera Syncing
Stop ! I just spent a few hours testing to try to figure out where the waves were coming from. Now, I went to David 4 and the scan was nearly perfect. No waves at all ! I don't know what is going on, but maybe the new patterns of David 5 + new algorithm is the problem. Anyway, to make sure of what w...

Re: Projector and Camera Syncing
I have doubts that this a sync problem. I made some test today. I will post a little later but to make the story short, I change the frame rate on the pointGrey (global shutter) using the "absolute" feature. This gives you one unit increaments. Anyway, within the 59-61 fps range, all scans...
