To buy or not a new 3d scanner

I've used Artec Eva for about 3 and a half years. I'm completely happy with the results, support, quality and so on..
The thing is that I'm archaeologist and I spend lot's of time on excavations scanning artefacts. Eva need a laptop with it which is not always comfortable.
Now I keep an eye at their new Artec Leo. Manufacturer says that it doesn't need to be connected to a computer while scanning. This is the main reason that I started to think about shifting to Leo from Eva.
But the price stops me.. If I had no scanner I will buy the Leo with no doubts, but as far as I already have a perfectly working scanner.
I'm not sure if I really have to spend money for this, so it seems I need an advice.
