Surface coating for scanning

Hello for everyon!
To scan dark and glare surfaces you have to use a matte spray, but this spay is expensive. One of the cheaper options is to use a solution of isopropanol (or degreaser, which is even cheaper) with talc (50/50). The solution dries quickly and leaves a smooth matte finish.
I did not find pure talcum powder and used the cheapest baby powder.

The result is very good and verified by several people. Perhaps it is not suitable for a very detailed scan, because the talc granules are large.

One of disadvantage of this method is that you need a spray gun or airbrush. Also you need to mix the solution well or filter it so that there are no very large blots:
