Looking for a projector, I have found this project.
They use a couple of Optoma and a Basler camera. And they speak about syncro:

The design, of course, is interesting ...
The price of one such projector (in Russia - $815) is comparable to the price of an excellent camera based on a SONY IMX 174 sensor (approximately $800 + a good ~ $86 lens).
I'm already silent about software that can support such a "scanning processor" :D
Soft: RangeVision DIY, Calibration panel/Rotary tables - RangeVision, Prj: Byintek UFO R9, Cam: Daheng Mercury MER-630-60U3M-L (USB3.0, monochrome) x2, Obj: ZLKC HM1628MP10 (F2.8, 10Mp, 16mm) x2 & Azure 3518M3M (F1.8, 3Mp, 35mm).
