Hi OBNRacerMan.
I just plugged the Dahengs, created a new system. Only the laptop webcam is recognised. The Dahengs are not in the DS devices list.

Hi mading
Do you mean your webcam is recognized by FelxScan3D?

The integrated cam in my laptop showed up too.

The Is cameras were located with no trouble and seem to both be working fine. I got the software configures, made a calibration plate, but didn't have time last night to do a calibration try scanning. Maybe next week.

This feels a little like cheating on on David. :)

Great news Micro!
Logitech C270 is being recognized by Flexscan3D.
At the moment I can't tune exposure /gain since I don't see their controls.
I don't know if it's necessary to have two cameras to access the settings or it's a problem of the drivers.
I have only one webcam.

I fell more like an evolution of my relation with David/HP.
They stopped the forum and dismissed the software development a few months after my investment in their software.
They cheated first.

Personally i would not get that particular daheng camera,

1) it's rolling shutter, - we only recommend global shutter sensors.

2) that particular aptina sensor is super old and not great, Once we officially release FS3D we will provide a suggested list of cameras to help people narrow down choices.

We have some daheng cameras inhouse and they are okay generally however for FS3D, i would save yourself some trouble and just pick up a nice 1.3mp or 2mp global shutter basler camera from the ace line. They're made in the EU, readily accessible and well tested with the software.
