Hi,
I'm a new user in this forum and want to build the structured light 3d scanner with 2 cameras.
I'm choosing between these cameras:
Basler Ace acA3088-57um
MindVision HT-SUA630M-T
Daheng MER2-630-60U3M
What about Daheng MER2-630-60U3M cameras? Does any software support this cameras?
Thanks.

Hi.
Range Vision will support them.
I would go for the Mono, not colour:

Basler Ace acA3088-57um
Basler are supported by Flexscan.

Daheng MER2-630-60U3M (latest released camera) and better than MER-630-60U3M (old camera).
Daheng MER2-630-60U3M supports remove parameter limit to expand the range of exposure, gain, white balance etc.
New released camera like old camera, working just one with HP SLS software? Any one know?

Daheng MER2-630-60U3M is mono.
In your link the camera is color :)

OBNRacerman (search his posts) managed to use the old MER-630 (b&w) with HP with 2 cameras. Using old drivers.
I am not aware of anybody using HP with MER2 and 2 cameras.

What's better choice? RangeVision software with DAHENG cameras vs FlexScan3d with Basler cameras.
HP software doesn't have new updates so, I want to move on active software.
Thanks.

Basler Ace acA3088-57um has rolling shutter and is not recommended for 3d scanning with FlexScan3D.

Is there a particular reason you chose this camera?

I know, that is not recommended, but I wonder which software is better in generally with compatible cameras.
I'm confused, I don’t know what to choose. What is the disadvantage of HP compared to other programs?

In my opinion:

The apparent advantage of HP is the availability of cracked versions.
And to be able to scan details into recesses with a single camera or extended view setup. And if you don't ask too much in terms of precision and repeatability.

The main problems:
-accuracy of calibration and its repeatability
-projector take part in the calibration process
-the impact of calibration into scan quality
-the painful alignemnt process
-the lack of a reasonable DIY turntable (autoIT is not for all)
-no 3-point manual alignment

From the availability of RV and Flexscan softwares, I don't see any reason to invest in HP compatible hardware and waisting time with angled panel calibration.
RV and FS both use flat panel and stereo cameras.

Btw I am selling David panels.
So my opinion is not driven by any interest.

Probably I go to RangeVision with rolling shutter cameras.
The reason is the price.
