Although the automatic turntable is perfect and reasonably priced (250€) I was told that a ConXim turntable will perform the same tasks.

The problem of the "alien" turntable is that the ComXim manufacturer does not directly produce tables that have "only" USB control (they make such to order only for RVs). And of the rest of their USB models, some models with a WiFi remote control ( which are quite expensive)

of course you can use an ESP32 microcontroller and have it controlled by wifi from your domotic system (such as home assistant)..
(not tried yet, but if somebody did it feel free to share )
