FlexScan3D Calibration issue

Hello everyone
Thanks to Mr. Nasr, I got into FS3D users. and this is my first post in this case.
I have Basler cameras and using modified version of Flex I can use them with Basler driver or via Directshow.
I can see two type of calibration method in Flex: Chessboard and Circle Patterns.
I can easily calibrate my system using chessboard method and get good scan result using it.
But what is Circle patterns? I never see any tutorial about Circle patterns calibration.
I printed a simple circle matrix and try to calibrate my camera, but don't know if it is true.
