Looking that the New LMI R4X SL system, I was wondering if anyone recognized the (1080p) projector they are using. That system looks very much like the David sls system so it intrigues.
Since it's an adjustable SLS system I am also very interested in what their calibration routine is.
Anyone?
3D LMI Projector?? Calibration??
Re: 3D LMI Projector?? Calibration??
Im impressed with the speed of their scans. here's one from 2012:

Re: 3D LMI Projector?? Calibration??
Isn't that using the Flexscan system? thats supposedly much more developed than david from what i've seen.
From what im suspecting the color wheel in my k132 is implicating the scanning process as it can be picked up from the camera end. If i can get rid of that and go full white with additional brightness

Re: 3D LMI Projector?? Calibration??
I tried to make david faster by changing maxpatternholdtime from 1000ms to 100ms and it maked the projections fast like the video but it fails, tried to tweak the exposure to compensate but it didn't work. if someone has any hints how to make scans faster, please post comments. is this possible if camera trigger function is used?3dxcan wrote: ↑14 Jun 2017, 16:13 Im impressed with the speed of their scans. here's one from 2012:

Not a lot of explanation but very interesting look at flexscan 3.1:

The calibration procedure looks pretty idiot proof. No precision corner necessary.
