Hi,
Untill today I have always been using Global Mapper to calculate volumes from my photogrammetry measurements.
Since there are a lot of software packages that can do this, I wanted to see the differences in results.
So, I downloaded some other software demo's to make a comparison. To my surprise there is quiet some difference in the results..
I understand that the calculations are not the same. But how can I know which software is the most accurate?
Thanks!

Re: Differences in volume calculation from photogrammetry
I think the easiest way to determine this is to try using a "test" object, the size of which is known in advance ... and see what different programs show.
Soft: RangeVision DIY, Calibration panel/Rotary tables - RangeVision, Prj: LG PF1500G, Cam: Daheng Mercury MER2-630-60U3M-L (USB3.0, monochrome) x2, Obj: ZLKC FM12036MP5 (F2.8/5Mp/12-36mm) x2. And a handheld scanner Creality Ferret
