I friend wanted a scaled down version of a flying helmet.
Scanned in one piece so obvioulsly not perfect. Printed ok.
Helmet
Re: Helmet
I sprayed it with AESUB blue. Not the perfect spray - i smells and it actually leaves
a bit of traces after "vanishing".
I will continue to use it, but maybe not to everything

Re: Helmet
Great scan. What calibration chart was used (as I understand it, this is a real, full-sized helmet scanned)?
Soft: RangeVision DIY, Calibration panel/Rotary tables - RangeVision, Prj: LG PF1500G, Cam: Daheng Mercury MER2-630-60U3M-L (USB3.0, monochrome) x2, Obj: ZLKC FM12036MP5 (F2.8/5Mp/12-36mm) x2. And a handheld scanner Creality Ferret
Re: Helmet
Yes, real helmet. I used the 240mm calibration panel for the first time. RMS numbers below 0,1 (!)

Re: Helmet
Great! I usually have RMS in the range 0.5 - 1.3 on tables from 30mm to 80mm

Re: Helmet
How did you manage to use 2xIS camera? When i try to connect one always freezes. What model do you use?
Thanks in advance!

I use this one:

I would say that you have a USB-problem. I struggled a lot with this (actually with the Oculus Rift VR-goggles).
I use USB card Inateck PCI-e to USB 3.0 (4 Ports)
The big thing for me was to set the correct PCIe-generation manually in BIOS. I have Gen3 on my Motherboard and the card is a Gen 2 (?).
This gives me steady 54fps on both cameras.
My Asus laptop works almost as good out of the box but i keep proj/camera cables apart as much as possible.
