Hi everyone
This is a simple scan of a small needle. I've scanned it with green light feature. It obviously enhances capturing quality. (green light and also blue light scanning is a nice feature available in modified version of FlexScan3Dviewtopic.php?p=5189#p5189)
The diameter of the needle is about 0.67mm and the width of the hole is about 0.3mm.
I should mention than my equipment is not perfect for macro scanning, but you can see that the result is promising
This is really cool, I have to admit. Well-done. I like reading about 3Sacnning, its tools, its methods, and how it is carried out. On a website named Trevilla Engineering & Design, I've read a lot of articles regarding 3D scanning. Their 3D engineering work is pretty impressive. You must look into it.

Very cool. can you post a picture set up for scanning that?
Hi Micr0
I used Daheng MER2-630-60U3M cameras (6.3MP)
20mm lenses
and a Acer K137 projector
Yes. I was hoping to see how you arrange your cameras and Projectors to be able to focus and scan something so small. I've always had a problem getting my cameras close enough to my projector and subject to be able to scan things smaller than 100mm.
