A friends Jaguar is to have altered gearing.
Experimenting - About to compare old and new crown wheel/pininon for Jag E-type.

This is the new parts and I must wait for the rear axle to be disassembled to scan the old parts.

Clay/Plasticine helped with alignment.

Helped colleague to make master for casting fishing baits:

Scanned master and made a surfacemodel (NX 12) from this.

Altered according to collegues wishes and 3D-printed.

The forum have been out of order for some days I think....(?)

Nice! Thanks for sharing.

I try to check in every other day or so and didn't notice the forum down. Maybe it was a regional internet thing?

The forum was somehow "read-only": no way of contacting or posting.

There was some error so that one couldn't write private messages. I updated the forum to solve that but the update took longer than I expected. I thought that there would be some kind of maintenance message but apparently the forum goes to read only instead :-P I will post a message next time before and after the update.
