Control Stick for a fighter aircraft. Which one?
Sprayed with cyclododecane. Surface not perfect but the need for no cleaning of spray after makes it ok anyway.
Number of scans is more than I wished for.
Stereo mode, Manual turntable (I think I like this best. "IKEA Snudda" sprayed with matte black.)
RMS of 0,08 & 0, 07, Original HP-panels 120mm scale. It aligns very well!
Control Stick
Control Stick
HP 3D Scan, Optoma ML750, 2x IS DMK 23UX236 with Computar 12mm, HP calibration panel, DIY Rotary tables.
Re: Control Stick
Awesome!
LG PF50, LG PF1500, RangeVision DIY: 2x DahengMer630, 2X12 and 2X16 mm 5Mp ZK lenses, RV turntable
Re: Control Stick
Done by Thunk3D colorful Desktop 3D Scanner Cooper C20 with Accuracy about 0.08mm

More experimenting:
20 scans on automated turntable.
Mobile-clip of the alignment.

Re: Control Stick
Great job Martan.
I have the david panels, and I got 0.14 on the 240 mm panel, but higher (0.23-0.40) on the 120.
Sme cameras and lenses.
Different projector (acer k132 non hp)
Do you use inside corner?

Re: Control Stick
Mading,
I use 120mm scale "inside corner". I turn the panels until cameras "see the same" - until RMS is equal.
This case 0,07-0,08-ish on both. I tried the setting "Compensate angle between panels" It doesn't seem to affect
RMS much but the scans aligned horribly.
Projector and cameras. Not even the same distance from projection lens.
Sorry about the messy "cave"
Again 20 scans:

Re: Control Stick
Another control stick for a fighter aircraft. Stick itself scanned in stereo mode and the base is
scanned mostly in extended mode. Optoma ML750e, 2x TIS 23UX236 with 12mm
Computar and original HP Calibration panels 120 mm. Works fine without to much problems.
