Do you need that trigger for other purposes than the turntable?
For istance for a series of manual scan triggering from a remote control?
An arduino remote trigger connected by bluetooth / wifi?

Yes, marker support was one of the reasons why I switched to this software (of course, easier calibration with flat panels and the presence of an automatic turntable are also important.
P.S. And now the table can be made by yourself - they (RV) recently laid out for us the necessary information about the DIY firmware of the table to work with their program.
