Can I know why do you scan parts like this Pump Casing? For reverse Engineering? If so, What software do you use for surface modeling an please send some more photos of finished surface part.

New scan of my favorite test subject!
I've been learning a bit more about the camera settings and adjusting accordingly. Very happy with the results. This is a precise merge, no post smoothing applied. Mesh alignment only, no markers were used.
Looking back at the previous scan of this object, I can see some areas where the scans didn't quite align correctly :oops:

Soft: RangeVision DIY, Calibration panel/Rotary tables - RangeVision, Prj: LG PF1500G, Cam: Daheng Mercury MER2-630-60U3M-L (USB3.0, monochrome) x2, Obj: ZLKC FM12036MP5 (F2.8/5Mp/12-36mm) x2. And a handheld scanner Creality Ferret
