After spending all last week getting acquainted with FlexScan3D and constantly tweaking my hardware, I feel this is worthy of sharing

Very nice indeed!
HP 3D Scan, Optoma ML750, 2x IS DMK 23UX236 with Computar 12mm, HP calibration panel, DIY Rotary tables.

With HP3dscan I DID NOT look forward to fusing the scans together. There was nothing worse than getting to the end only to find out your scans don't quite fit together 100%. Not to mention how time consuming the process was.

With FlexScan3D, I now look forward to finalizing my scans. After learning the keyboard shortcuts and the workflow when working with meshes, the process is actually enjoyable and productive.

Custom pc based on 9600k processor, 1080p dlp projector, 3mp cameras with global shutter.

As for the calibration panel, it's just a 15mm calibration pattern that I printed at work then taped onto a piece of glass 🤣

Eventually I'll get a proper calibration panel from Polyga
