Hi everyone
Here I post some of my scan and reverse engineering results

this is a centrifugal Pump:
All parts are scanned, reverse engineered and assembled.

Scanner: DIY scanner, HD projector, 6.3MP cameras
Scanning software: Modified version of FlexScan3D
Reverse Engineering Software: CATIA V5

Ah, Yes
I added some new functions to the software to enhance the scan and surface quality, so after finalization, the edges remain sharper.
meanwhile I upgraded my scanner projector from a 800x600 old one to a new projector with HD resolution.

What happens if you scan something like that with out markers? Is there a noticeable difference in alignment of accuracy?

about accuracy, markers doesn't have any effect on final accuracy. but the scan process with be so much difficult and time consuming without markers.
