It's been a while since we last posted, since we've been quite busy with everything. I'm glad people found that FS3D is now free so I hope people in this forum are enjoying it. I'd like to just announce another free tool for people to use and enjoy. PointKit is our new Mesh processing Software for 3D scan data.

Our tagline is "All the tools you need for 3D point cloud and mesh processing, analysis and collaboration on one software platform."
The background on this tool was that we developed PointKit to handle the mesh processing needs for various Polyga projects for the past several years. Open Source software (ie MeshLab, CloudCompare) were too complicated, difficult to automate and didn’t work reliably or fast enough.
Geomagic, Polyworks, Zeiss and other enterprise software packages were too expensive or inflexible. Raw software libraries (ie Open3D, PCL, VCG) required too much development time and software customization to quickly deploy.
So our goal is that PointKit is a modern, powerful and cross-platform solution for processing 3D meshes and large point clouds. It fills the gap between open source and expensive enterprise solutions.
Please give it a try, as it's just been relaunched so if there's feedback on tools, functionality please let us know here. It's currently available for at no cost for basic usage with an up coming premium version for enterprise use.
