Compatibility issue between David 3D Scanner and ZEUS L800 projector

Post by kth307000 »

Hello everyone,

I'm currently setting up a structured light 3D scanning system using the David 3D Scanner software. I recently purchased a ZEUS L800 Full HD LCD projector and connected it to my Windows PC via HDMI. The projector works fine as a secondary display in Windows, but David does not seem to recognize it as a valid projection device.

Here are some details:
- Projector: ZEUS L800 (Full HD 1080p, LCD)
- Connection: HDMI to PC
- OS: Windows 7
- David version: [5]
- Display mode: Extended desktop

I've tried adjusting the resolution and refresh rate, and confirmed that the projector is working normally in other applications. However, David either doesn't detect it or fails to use it for pattern projection.

Has anyone successfully used the ZEUS L800 (or similar LCD projectors) with David?
Are there any known limitations or workarounds for using non-DLP projectors?

Any advice or alternative software suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

you should set your displays in extended mode via windows display settings.
