Extended View mode VS stereo

What are you guys experience with this? I just started getting a feel and find that extended get your more per scan while i'm getting less and sketchy results from stereo.
For me, in Stereo mode mesh deformation is very less and geometrical accuracy is more. but mesh is sketchy too (quality lower than single camera or extended mode).
