Hello,
I am taking scans of a replica shin bone with soft-tissue meniscus. The bone does not change from scan to scan. I have produced two different models. All scans were taken right after each other (i.e. all 8 scans taken for model #1 then all 8 scans taken for model #2. Object was not moved between scans).
I am seeing large deviations in the bone models. I am trying to preform boolean subtraction between the two models to isolate the soft-tissue on top. However, I am not able to get perfect subtraction between the two models because of the deviations.
Does anyone have tips for how to generate less deviations between models?
Thanks!
Kate

Re: Deviations Across Scans
I am using an HDI Advance R2 projector with cameras from LMI Technologies. The scanning software used is FlexScan3D v 3.3.5. My scanner set up is shown in the accompanying picture.

I would check the calibration and repeat it
