Greetings.

Afaik it doesn't out of the box. GigE is a proprietary standard used by different manufacturers across the industry. However, if the cameras software supports an output format which David can make use of, then it might work. David should be able to recognize any camera which behaves like a USB webcam, so for example a USB Video Device Class (UVC) device or a direct show output. You may also be able to use https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/ ... alcam.949/ to create a virtual camera stream to feed into david.

I'd say it depends on your camera and software. I haven't tried to use a GigE camera with david, so please report back if it works (or doesn't)!

Getting that level of detail on a full chassis without it warping over the length of the car is always the biggest challenge. Did you have to use a lot of reference markers or photogrammetry to keep the global accuracy tight, or did the scanner handle the tracking on its own?
