For those looking for an "alternative" to the Desk Scan Lever Pro (605.- $ at growshapes.com) alternative as http://www.growshapes.com/store/p31/HP_ ... r_Pro.html:

ERGOTRON LX (about 150.-€) seems to be the used base (as far as I see specs are equal):

(Note: ERGOTRON also offers a model with a bigger lift range of 51 cm and additional extension arms)

Looks pretty equal, doesn't it?
Just add an adapter plate + handle to mount your rig and save much money ....

I had that once and returned it, the shaft has so much play it isn't worth it. See my setup and it can be done with any swivel arm

Other than the "loose shaft" were there any other issues with the Ergotron arm?

What others types /brands of arms is everybody else using?
