Friends, can you tell me how much is RMS Error value for you after calibration?
in setting/service ==> check "Show Debug Console".
see following photo how to find it.

What does it mean? How should it be?
Mine was 1.1

1.1 is a big value of error. Are you sure?
As I know in a perfect calibration process it must be near to zero.
It is interesting for me how you can get good result by your scanner.
Can you double check the RMS Error and check alignment quality?

RMS Error shows how well your calib panel is made or how well your camera can read your calib panel.
0.1 is a good value.
Can i know if you get this value with Nikon or using Industrial camera?
As i remember you have IDS cams. Why do you do your scans using Nikon?

Yes it is with NIKON. IDS is veri slow on datta capture. With Nikon it goes to 1080p if i remember right. If is necesary i can try with IDS just to compare. I think my projector is not OK for scanning. Can you suggest one model?
Why do you use version 4 of David and not 5?

Thanks for reply.
About projector, I don't know a suitable one. All I know need modifications. I'm developing an application to solve the problem on software side.
About david v4. I have its SDK. For developing my app I use it. But the final version works for all HP versions.
what is the resolution of your IDS camera? Can you get well alignment using them as well as Nikon?
Erapip can you take a photo of your calib panel by a high quality camera (dslr if possible). I want to check it.
But resolution should not exceed 6MPixel.
The photo should be like when you want calibrate your scanner. Calib panel fill photo area. And in enough light. Projector is not needed.
Thanks for your help.

Hi BigBomber,
I would like you to check my 220 mm panel. I'll appreciate.
Is the same panel I used in the second test I posted in our previous discussion. I double checked it and it does not seems so bad in terms of dot precision.
I'm waiting for some "Arca style" stuff in order to made my setup look more professional.
I hope results will improve too. :-)
