Is it possible to use a calibration panel with more rows and columns of dots than the standard files? (to cover larger area of the camera view when calibrating)

Yes. In fact I recommend it. Especially if you are using a projector with a 16:9 aspect ratio. I make my panels with 7 columns and and 7 rows. The more dots you have, the more information David has to calibrate with.

Could someone advise...……. The definition of calibration scale ? that we enter into the software ?
Is it the distance between each marker or between 5 markers.

Thanks in advanced :)

The calibration scale is the distance between 5 dots (center to center). So a 100mm panel would have dots 25mm apart from each other (again center to center)

Thanks so much for your reply.
I thought it was that ...but given there were no numbers on the scale I figured cant hurt to ask.

I'm very impressed with my scans so far.
But I have a long way to go.

Is the RMS value you see, the level of correction of the panels between the dots?
I have it at 0.2
Is that ok number or I could go better?

Thanks for your help again.
