Daheng Mercury MER-630-60U3M-L - 2 camera can work with HP3Dscan

Post by OBNRacerMan »

Maybe this information will be useful for someone.
Today they shared with me a link to very old drivers for my Daheng Mercury MER-630-60U3M-L cameras (which worked fine only in Rangevision ScanCenter (we are talking about two-camera mode), and HP can only work with one camera).
Now, with these ancient drivers, the HP3DScan program was able to work simultaneously with two such cameras, and the RV software also remained operational.
Two cameras are visible and working.

Forgot to ask:
if I want to use HP and RV in the same computer, what it the correct procedure?
I am using RV with "old" daheng drivers as requested.

I calibrated in this order:
1. First, in Rangevision (because there are rather strict restrictions on the size of the table in the frame),
2. With the same relative position of the cameras and the projector, did the calibration in HP3DScan (which is not so critical to the visible size of the table in the frame). The visibility setting did not change, everything was adjusted by zooming in/out of the table
As a result, we were able to quickly switch to the desired scanning program. There are some issues with the recommended angles between cameras (20 ° -RV and 45 ° -HP) My camera mounts have a fixed angle of 10 ° to the projector. But even in this case, the scans made by HP are of normal quality.
