If you look at OBNRacerMan posts, there's an old daheng driver that works for 630 model and HP.
I did not try it yet and I am not aware of the differences between the 500 and 630 models.

I have the 630 cameras, they works well in RV.

I don't think anyone can give an exact answer to these cameras ... they are of little interest to anyone in general ... these are extremely slow cameras that produce 7fps since use an external USB2.0 interface.

Personally, I assume that they will not be visible in Flexscan3D, because (according to their description) they use the same API as MER-630, which are also not visible in that program.

There are also big doubts about their applicability with the Rangevision program ... but perhaps something could have happened (I know that USB2.0 cameras work there for sure - Toupcam UCMOS3100KPA (1/2", 3.1MP / 8fps) and UCMOS5100KPA (1/2.5", 5.1MP / 7fps))

As for the work in HP3DScan - there is some hope that they will be able to work there ...

In this case, buying such cameras you will act at your own peril and risk ... as a "pioneer"

According to mading flexscan can't see Daheng camera.

HP3Dscan works with two cameras, but only with old drivers.
There are also some inconveniences associated with the fact that after each launch of the HP3DScan program, the "sharpening" parameter must be disabled in the settings for each camera ... and after the calibration is completed and the switch to the scan mode, these steps must be repeated.
Further, until the end of the work, no additional action is required.

But all this applies to cameras of the MER-630 series.

FS3D only supports Point Grey, Basler, and now Imaging Source Cameras for scanning.
